So I finally saw the movie "Warrior".
Awesome movie.
Lots of good life lessons in it.
And, lots of good EMAIL lessons in it, too.
For example:
The movie is about two estranged brothers who have to fight each other in a "winner take all" MMA tournament. And don't worry, you don't have to like MMA (although why wouldn't you???) to like this movie or use the HUGE email lesson inside.
Here's what I mean:
The two brothers are like night and day.
The younger brother Tommy is a loner in life.
Bitter.
Brutally violent in a fight.
And friggin' *savage* in the cage.
He's like a gorilla pounding on these other guys who don't even know what hit them. He's also got a serious hate on for his brother and dad -- carrying some serious rage.
And what of his older brother, Brendan?
Is he a badass, too?
Not so much.
He's just an average fighter and not great like his brother.
He's also a family man softened and (dare I say it?) domesticated with two daughters and a cushy job as a physics teacher.
He's also smaller.
Older.
Slower.
And, in every physical way, weaker.
About as "underdog" as you can get.
Yet...
(SPOILER ALERT!!!)
He ends up beating all these other bad asses!
But, he doesn't win by trading punches or using brute strength. He wins by outsmarting them -- leveraging joint manipulations, patiently waiting for an opening, and tapping out his opponents even right when they were about to win.
Anyway, what's this got to do with email?
Everything!
Email lets YOU compete with all the "bad asses" in your market, too.
You don't need the biggest list.
Or the "rockstar" personality.
Or even the best product.
Do email right and you can "leverage" even small lists into sales -- with happy customers who eagerly buy again. You'll contact them in a way they LIKE reading and buying from. And, you won't worry about bigger competitors.
In some ways, you won't have any.
You just have to know what you're doing.
That's where "Email Players" comes in.
There's no screwing around.
No fluff.
And, nothing unproven.
Just hardcore information that lets you enter the "octagon" with your competitors, beat on them, and do business on YOUR terms, nobody else's.
Ain't nuttin' else like it, amigo.
Next issue mails soon.
